No, it wouldn't. Homo is a specific genus, of which H. sapiens H. sapiens sapiens are the only survivors. If we made a robot that could think, using either of those terms for its classification would break the system. The only new species that would be under the genus Homo would have to be somthing that evolved from humans.
I have chosen this nit and I will pick it to death.

I had horrible nightmares about suffocation last night, which I'd attribute to being sick and waking up several times almost choking on my own mucus. More terror than sad, but you get the idea.
Man, I wish I could have those kind of nightmares.

My only nightmares are my sweetest dreams.

Huh, I very rarely dream and if I do I've forgotten a minute after waking up.
I once was good in remembering them, but after a series of nightmares as a kid, it looks like I somehow blocked them out.

If that's bark then they aren't even that giant.

It's weirdest when I wake up and have only a vague impression of the dream.  Something like "Well, I was walking around and then... uh... something bad happened.  Not sure what it was, but it was really bad."

The only thing I usually remember about my dreams is walking along, then suddenly falling to the ground (much quicker than it would be through gravity).  As I hit the ground, I wake up.

Chatting with my mildly psychotic and mentally abusive mother on the phone. I'm coy to how her mind-games work, but talking to her is just really, really draining sometimes. I had to call off plans to see them for my birthday this afternoon, because she's in one of her negative moods... and try though I might to coach her through it, as always there's no helping it. She's something of an emotional vampire... she'll insist on making herself miserable, long after she has no reason to, just to engender sympathy and attention... and then pushes away everyone who attempts to comfort, help, or listen to her. It's just really, really unhealthy, and though I'd like to think pointing it out and helping her through it would resolve the issue... it never does.

Loving people can be really, really difficult.

Most adorable Arthropods ever. Did you know they drink water from a sort of straw they extend from their butt? They're related to marine arthropods that look very similar, and are only partially adapted to live in terrestrial environments (they need to remain well-hydrated, or they dry up and die).

I'm suicidally sad/maniacally happy, because my head doctor decided to put me back on medication after three years off it. Because, "I seemed depressed" My girlfriend of eight years is three thousand miles away for a year, OF COURSE I'M FUCKING DEPRESSED!!!

I don't know why I try and be optimistic about this; being around my family is difficult every time without exception. I'm glad to be going home tomorrow. I can't deal with very much more of this.

Comic Jumper makes me sad, and very angry. After all the expectations I had, it delivered nothing. Twisted Pixel stole my money.

I'd like to remind everyone that half of the time I don't even know what I'm talking about. The other half of the time I only sort of know what I'm talking about.

That sounds pretty cool, Duke.

This 3 day weekend has left me wallowing in my thoughts, and it feels like I'm alone. Crippled, and I got nobody to hang out with. God, I am going to try my hardest never to move with my kids. I've experienced so much in my short lifespan on Earth, hell, I've experienced more than most people will in a lifetime(meeting a president, 2 secretaries of state, circumnavigated the world, learned 3 different languages) but I'm pretty sure I'm emotionally screwed because of it. I don't have any close friendships that lasted more than 3 years, and I've been forced to act as mature as an adult since childhood. Fuck. Why does unfixable shit happen? Why can't it be something that I can change?

Apparently, I'm too retarded to program my calculator to do basic algebra. *sigh* Some programmer I'm going to be.
