I'm sad because polynomials have stumped me.

Polynomials? What's the problem? Are they making you do stupid exercises that you'll find a bafflingly simple solution to next year?

Hmm. I think a major part of my problem is sample size. 99% of the humans I have ever made contact with were either completely bonkers or goverment employees. The two humans that I met who weren't in those two categories were pretty nice people actually.

Damnnit, where do you all go? There's 50 billion humans on this planet and I don't even remember what a human looks like.

EDIT:

Also, I left my white MP3 player in my pocket with a bunch of leaky pens. I now have a blue mp3 player.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Maybe you should get off the internet, go outside, and stop referring to people as humans.  It makes you sound like a spaz.

But the sun hurts. :(

Anyway, they're not out there either.

There are 6.9 billion humans on this planet, and although you may not like it, that includes you.

Oh. Well, that's still a lot. Damn my memory.

I know I'm human, I'm just not used to referring to myself as one. Funny what being in near-total isolation your entire life does to you.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

If it is serous, go get mental help. If not, go cry more and come back in three years.

Do you actually live on a crate in the Atlantic, Schilcote? There must be someone around.

I have a family, but they're worse than being alone.

Anyway, I have coffee so I am in a better mood now.

I don't have any working computer mice.
Trackpads are fine for anything keyboard intensive, like coding, but it makes gaming a pain in the ass.
