It's for sugar cubes--you need the wine to dissolve the sugar, so it's important to have holes =)

I prefer the variant, where you soak the sugar in absinthe, light it on fire, let it melt and then drop it in the glass.

You're just finding out about all the puns and hidden messages surrounding the Felt?

Try using 7's with a crossbar, like this one:

If his t's look like sevens I believe he does use a crossbar.
I don't think there's a way to make a t look like a 7 with a crossbar, but it can look like one without a crossbar if you put the t's bar on the top and write it in 1 go.

That still uses the spoon.

Yeah, reading the wiki page on the felt was interesting.  A mix of number shapes, other languages and related items.

Your point?
This are still two different techniques.

Nah, I didn't pick up on any of them. Never would have, if it wasn't for TvTropes.

Try using 7's with a crossbar, like this one:

If his t's look like sevens I believe he does use a crossbar.

Indeed, I do, and the lowercase t generally has a "flag" at the top, from the left. Bah.

What made me sad was realising just how un-lazy I have to be to run this RTD.
