So, my English class was assigned The Great Gatsby. It is the single worst piece of literature I have read in my entire life. There is nothing interesting about this book. Catcher in the Rye and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn may be over-hyped and very dated social commentaries, but at least they were interesting. This is just...awful. Damned teachers not picking decent books.
