Been hanging out on the xkcd forums (more people to play Mafia with!).  Geez, louise that's an irritating place to be.  But it's sort of fitting, I guess... I spend time on the DF forums without being a fan of DF, and I spend time on the xkcd forums without liking xkcd.

To be honest, I'm afraid of opening my mouth over there to talk about anything other than mafia.  I'm not quite as liberal or intellectual as they are, and I've seen a lot of people open their mouths and get seriously chewed out for unorthodox opinions--not in a humorous way, either.

Meh.

I like you guys much better.  We play a better game of mafia, too :I

I've read it in the past, and I think it has some clever jokes... but now that I've grown up a little bit, much of the attitude around it annoys me.  It's a webcomic, whose theme is often "We are smarter than you, even if you are actually part of our intellectual circle."  It's not the webcomic to end all webcomics, and quoting it all the time just makes you unimaginative, not smart.

Meh.

Maybe I don't dislike xkcd, in and of itself.  Maybe I just dislike the fans, and like myself, and therefore cannot be a fan of xkcd.
