Math.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUu

It's not that I'm bad at math, it just that they have everyone doing kindergarten level bullshit over and over and over. What the hell.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Get the screen fixed and keep pushing it if they tell you there's nothing wrong with it. I fell for that and two years on my shitty old laptop's screen still occasionally goes ballistic.

It took me five years, but I finally realized the possibility that I could actually have a toxic relationship that I would be better off without. My good-natured optimistic outlook has been brought down a notch, but nothing's set in stone yet.

Also, she said my midnight visit was creepy and not romantic.

Far be it for me to say, but he way you just described it strikes me that maybe neither of you really want this relationship.

Of course, the thing I should be sad about is that I would know what I'm talking about if I bothered to spend some time reading and studying like I know I should, but then I'd really have to blame myself.  I think I'm going to delete Stalker or something, I need to get in gear here.
I just need to read the notes and interpretation, and get serious about a reading schedule.

Because I always need something else to think about instead of the responsibilities themselves, I just got out a ruler.  350 cubic inches of text, that's what I have to read this semester.  Not including about ten scholarly articles (equivalent to a short book), and a good twenty hours of online Spanish work.  Fifteen weeks, sans twenty hours, sans about nine hours a day for class and my job (not including weekends), sans about six hours a day to sleep, is just under 1400 hours.  To read about 370in3 of books about stuff I'm interested in with that much time shouldn't seem unreasonable.  But it sure does look daunting.

Actually, I realized this about the relationship well after it was broken off. She broke up with me in December, this midnight visit was two weeks ago, and I am currently in a period of time where I can gather myself and tell her if we can 'truly' be just friends as she liked between December and the two weeks ago. I had thought that if she realized how happy she was with me during this time, she'd want to enter a romantic relationship with me again. Instead, I was friendzone'd without noticing.

Since I wanted to talk to her with all my thoughts gathered, I have been gathering them... and I'm no longer sure I should try to even maintain friendship with her.

This, unfortunately =/  You'll probably be better off with a good, long time apart, in the end.

I have almost no relationship experience, but at least I can pretend to have a love life on the intarwebz.

I thought this would make me laugh, but it just made me feel kind of sad and impotent.

Nothing about Death Row is ever funny.
Some of the legendary criminals can go out in a really badass way, or joke around about it, but it's never funny.

I would have just felt cold inside when I was younger, stiffened up, and tried to pretend desperately that I was unaffected.  Probably would have found something to laugh about, because there usually is--I remember we all tittered over something similar when I was a senior in high school, though it wasn't a list and the teacher in question had a way of making everyone laugh.  I guess I've gotten too much older, now, and suddenly I can't just detach from everything.  This is the world we live in.  The stories we tell are reflections and distortions of reality, not just escapes into distant planes of existence.

Guh.  There's so many problems to fix, and the more I learn about everything the more certain I become that there is no "solution" or "meaning" in any of it.  We can only try so hard to be good and honorable men, in a decayed universe.

I'm disturbed by the people asking for stuff like a burger and fries.

That's your last meal, man.  Maybe they're trying to relive more innocent times.

Jeez, you really brought me down, Vector.

I'm sad because apparently I'm a dumbass who can't count.

The Bay 12 DF Gladiator Challenge Tag Tournament Edition is up, and I thought we had 32 signups.

Apparently I skipped the number 11. God DAMN it. Haha.

Anyone willing to jump the border north and sign up? That way we can start.
