^^^ I got everyone's back when it comes to diction.

Disposing of a body is generally done surreptitiously.

Thermite is hot and loud, your neighbors would notice if you were burning a body with it.

So you disguise the body disposal process as a chemistry demonstration.  The perfect crime.

And now I put the thermite on this bag that does not look like a corpse in any way. Watch as it burns all of the eviden- I MEAN BAG.
Whew. That was a close one.

On topic: I dropped like $700 today on a suit + related articles of clothing.  Some friends are getting married this weekend, and I've never owned a suit, so I figured I'd make an investment (no pun intended).  It's still at the shop awaiting adjustments, so I can't even try it on again to reassure myself that it was money well spent.  God, clothes.

Extemporize, perhaps?

Anyway: yes, but you'd need a rather large amount of thermite to deal with the body.  All in all, I'm putting my money on the acids, not the explosives.

Also, how much thermite, where are you putting it, and how are you controlling it?

No, it was expound, even though I accidentally quoted MSH's post instead of Footy's. I'll have to remember extemporize though, it's a great word.

A fair few litres, at least. Enough to cover the bottom of a 22 gallon drum, which you can then insert the person into. Even though the drum would melt. So- Put the drum in a hole, fill the bottom of the drum with thermite, and ignite.

Ta-daaa. Instant people-juicer.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Here's a nice little tool to use to find the word you're looking for.

Right, but then the question becomes:

Can you keep the reaction stable long enough to haul your victim into the drum?

Hey, that's amazing!  Thank you.

Explain is a nice, mundane synonym that fits the criteria too.

However, if you're going for needless verbal filigree, Circumlocution fits the bill. It basically means "using a long list of words to describe a relatively simple concept." Kinda like I just did there.

NINJA-EDIT: Nice link.

Make the drum out of high temperature ceramic instead of metal.

Naw, if I were looking for needless verbosity, I'd use a word like "Elucidate" or "Explicate".

One, I have bookmarked said awesome link.

Two, drop detonator and cord in before body, and then put body in before hitting switch. Then you just have to poke him with a stick until he's ash. And then poke that with a stick until it disintergrates.

I am steadily spiralling into a worse and worse mental state. I'm dropping my anxiety meds too, cost too much and I don't really make enough money for it to worthwhile. I was still a miserable shut in while on them.
