Don't worry friend, we all got our opportunity to be openly creepy and avidly express our desire to vicious maim and mutilate digital people, even if it were just a dream.

A wonderful, fantastic dream.

New level: they sunk to it.

I thinking of starting a thread about this inanity.  On the one hand, it wouldn't technically be a controversial topic, since there's two sides to the argument: crazy, and not crazy, and I don't think anyone here is on the crazy side.  On the other hand, what's the point.

Oh great, psychotic individuals who don't understand US law. For their "patriotism", you think they would have remembered a part of the constitution that's just ever so slightly important.

Quote from: The Goddamn Constitiution Of The United States Of America-First Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Yeah, it makes real conservatives and Christians look pretty damn stupid when people do that stuff... The first amendment applies to all religions, not just Christianity.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Quote from: The link
Opponents of a new Islamic center say they believe the mosque will be more than a place of prayer; they are afraid the 15-acre site that was once farmland will be turned into a terrorist training ground for Muslim militants bent on overthrowing the U.S. government.

"They are not a religion. They are a political, militaristic group," Bob Shelton, a 76-year-old retiree who lives in the area, told The Associated Press.
Quote from: Further down in the link
"No mosque in Murfreesboro. I don't want it. I don't want them here," Evy Summers said to WTVF. "Go start their own country overseas somewhere. This is a Christian country. It was based on Christianity."

Stupid external hard disk is formatted for Mac and says it runs fine and stuff on my computer, but it won't let me browse the files.

And you don't even get an extra megabyte of space anymore.

Also, I had a piece of popcorn kernel stuck in my teeth for so long the gums around it started bleeding. Though that isn't all bad, because my blood tastes pretty good...

In fact, that's the best taste I've tasted in a while. Maybe this belongs in the Happy thread.

Blood is happy. :D

But yeah, apparently, the way in which this disk won't work means I can't even format it for Windows either.

Then you'll just need a very special sort of reformatting tool...

:D

Get some of their igniting compound too, you won't get thermite burning without it. Pour a pile of thermite, make a dent in it with your thumb, pour the ignition mix in, and then pour more thermite on top and heat it with a blowtorch. Then look away.

I'd love to do that, but I'm not allowed near anything highly flammable.
