I know that Pi is unrational, and i is generally unrealistic.

Must be the lack of P.

Also- When the hell was the last time I made a blanket fort!? I gotta go do that!

I'm also carpenter-ing up a dog house for one of the dogs. I realised a few days ago that the shape of his camp means that he's practically floating during a flood. Poor bastard looked like a shipwrecked mariner.

When I'm bored, I make tiny sculptures out of blu-tac. I've actually gotten amazingly good at it. It shows how often I'm bored, I guess.

Finished Bartimaeus trilogy today. The bittersweet ending saddened me.

Also, my holidays are ending. Then again, that has its upside as well.

It is strange how imaginary numbers are actually completely necessary if you become an architect or something.  Even if it's basically impossible to know exactly what "3i" is meant to mean...

I did go to a talk about "phantom numbers" once, numbers which can never be represented as decimals as they go on forever without repeating.  There are an infinite amount of said numbers.  It was... weird.

Oh... oh no! Not them again! My grades, my electronic studies grades five years ago...!

*shivers in corner*

Even trigonometry was goddamn easier.

Probability was my most favourite maths subject. Interesting, relevant, easy and difficult, all at the same time!

Failing that, I liked calculus.

You know, I did just fine with 60 GB on my last computer, yet this machine has 33.2 GB free out of 224. Where did it all go?

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

You just accumulate stuff, and think it's all "necessary".

It isn't really, though.

You've just described the plot of one of my favorite games. This makes me sad.

Just found out that my grandmother on my mothers side passed away during the night. A few years back I remember my fathers mother passing away, but I never met her. Every holiday we would go down to our mothers relatives though, and my grandmother would be there. So while we were not terribly close we were aware of eachother.

That's terrible. I lost my grandfather in the same way a few years ago.
