I remember reading about that one farmer-turned-untrained sniper in the Winter War who killed about 505 russian soliders with his rifle, and 200 more with his submachine gun. And who survived direct artillery strikes, (launched to kill him specifically) a full regiment of counter-snipers (also out to kill him, and who were all promptly sniped by him), and a direct shot to the jaw (that only kept him down untill the end of the war). He also only used iron sights, and the soviet soliders eventually started calling him: THE WHITE DEATH.

So, really, I don't find them losing the Winter War to be very suprising.

Proud to be a Finn, even if I'm technically an American.

Well duh. How else do you get to sleep when the sun only sets for an hour or two? (Or conversely, what else are you going to do when it's night for 20 hours a day?)

Eh, that happens all over Scandinavia.

It's damn rainy up north too, so it's no surprise a lot of Finns are indoor-people.

Apparently Liam Fox, a government minister here, has called upon shops to ban the new Medal of Honour game since you can play as the Taliban online.

Great.

I think this one is for being "tasteless" rather than being bad for children.  Still odd though.

What? Why are they banning it? Don't the see it could be their greatest weapon against the Taliban yet? Just imagine, scores of new recruits who think bunnyhopping and no-scoping will win them a firefight!

Great.
Next, they will ban Starcraft 2, lest players begin devouring their neighbors and incorporating their DNA.

Not to mention their surprise when there is no spawn point.
