Although it's like ten times as expensive, you can still grow and shrink in size, as an evolution trick to regain health.  The human kinda sucks when he's tiny though.

Yeah, I was sick of grinding so I just stopped collecting EVO points to waste on shrink/growing. Which meant I could basically take four hits per fight before my easily-lost 80 hp ran out. :\

I finally won though! Managed to beat the yeti mom without taking a hit, actually, though since she tended to attack in a nonstop flurry it was kind of a no-hits-or-die thing.

Visited a friend's place and stayed the night, had a great time... then we got on the subject of game design and I realized I don't know a freaken' gosh-darned thing about the field, and I want to find a job in it somehow.  I hate my English degree, my stupidity at the time of not taking programming classes while I was attending the #1 CS college in my state (it's the #1 creative writing college too), and the stupidity of anyone who saw me running toward a figurative brick wall and shrugged at my singleminded stupidity at the time. 

Why me, why always like this.  I'm like the tank fighter in a group without a rogue who gets sent ahead to set off the traps because he can take it.  I had the chance to somehow duel class cleric and fighter, but nooo.  I'm tired of being the one who has to make the mistakes that other people laugh at or learn from.  I'd like to do something right the first time already.  Like everyone else seems to, or expects me to.  Arrrrrgh.
