We had plenty of snow, it just doesn't make headlines because it always snows here.

Where I live in Oregon, we don't get snow (get plenty of rain living in a rain forest though :P). We're lucky if it snows at all during the winter months, and when it does, it's maximum six inches or so. I wish it snowed more here :( I love the snow, and winter in general.

(Also, happy 1000 posts to me.)

It's not snowing right now, also pardon my English but I just accidentally hit my head against the ceiling and it fluffing hurts.

When it rains here, the rain evaporates before it touches the ground.  :(

our only water is from the everglades. That's why we cloned Steve Erwin to keep our water guys safe.

At risk of making things disgusting, I'll put this in a spoiler-
Spoiler: Medical Thing (click to show/hide)
Now before anyone says the obvious, I'm not dumb enough to solicit or need medical advice from Bay12 (I get my advice from webmd.com, thank you).  I don't know a lot about medicine, but I know that's some scary shit.  I'm going to a doctor first thing in the morning (well, a clinic anyway).  What's making me "sad", as far as that word a definition in this thread, is I can't decide if I should stay home from work tonight.  I took a Thursday off two weeks ago, and my punctuality and reliability is the best reputation I have there.

Wait, what am I saying?  Fuck those people, I'm staying home.

Er, if there was ever a reason not to go to work...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Would be one of them. That's royally scary. I won't blah blah anymore since you've probably read it on WebMD.

Might be worth sucking up the cost of a trip to the emergency room just so you can get some answers STAT.

That's the thing though, I feel fine.  The only symptoms I can find from any listing, is infection, kidney problems, "benign prostate enlargment" (which doesn't sound benign at all), or injury/blockage.  Since I'm not in kind of pain anywhere and show any other symptoms, and it's apparently been there a couple days, I'm pretty sure it's not going to kill me in the next twelve hours.

I know I'll look pretty stupid if a seething mass erupts from my groin tonight, but I think I can take my chances.

There's a thread for that now, you know.

Aqizzar, my money would be on a prostate infection. If you're not hurting now, chances are you will be in just a few days.

Do you have any jackhole friends Aqizzar? You know, the kind that would put that certain food coloring into your food that your body can't digest, and it makes it look like you're peeing anywhere from red to blue?
