Playing Temple of Elemental Evil, with mods and the like that allay Troika's trademark unplayability.  Unfortunately, they can't get rid of the problems of low level 3.5e.  Just hacked my way through all the giant frogs at the moathouse, kicked the brigands' asses, and was gathering up loot so I could afford to catch Furnok cheating and get my free rest at the inn, when I stepped too far to the left and aggrod two brigands that hadn't joined in the fight.  Thirty seconds later four of my guys are unconscious and my last guy (A ranger) is trading arrows with the other one.  Just as I kill the last brigand Soosie the half-elf rogue dies, and I forgot to save.

Damn it.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

I caught a cold. It's midsummer and I caught a cold from a night of urban camping.
I don't think the temperature affect whether or not you get a cold. Didn't that assumption come from a temporary thing where you got cold-like symptoms for a while after exposed to the cold?
I've got cold like symptoms, the usual runny nose and dry mouth, but the thing is, I wasn't even exposed to the cold. It's over 100 degrees out here in the day, and it drops to about 90 at night. Funny thing is, sleeping without AC gave me this crap, not the other way around...

The whole cold=sickness is a stupid old wives tale with no basis in reality.

Yeah, you're more likely to get a "cold" in hot weather.

Yep, it's superstition. It's person to person germs; or in other words, when you spend a lot of time indoors with other people, you will be more likely to get one. As such, in the winter, or all year round if you are a bunch of computer nerds, you will have them more often than if you were outside. If you go outside and get cold-like symptoms, it is either because A: allergies or B: it is actually cold out. If it is too cold out, IIRC, your nose begins secreting fluids in order to help warm up the -20 degree air before it is piped directly into the middle of your body (which is supposed to stay over 95 degrees pretty much all the time).

I'd say it's either allergies or person to person stuff then. More likely to be the latter though, you see, we were a quite large bunch sleeping in a rather small porch.

I'm bummed either way, I hate these "colds".

Something involving a dog, poison oak, and me petting/hugging the dog.

Oh, and on the topic of Legos, why did they take down all of those awesome games that they had on their site? I think the oldest one they have there is Junkbot.
