 My dog has gotten very aggressive lately. He's been nipping at us relentlessly and is not following commands. He is also losing all houstraining as his peeing control is utterly gone. I really hope he doesn't have some disease or suddenly adopted some bad behavior out of nowhere.

Chances are high that he does.  Take him to a vet.

Is he old? That might just be "natural decline".
Otherwise, he's most definitely ill in some way, but what you described are basically the symptoms of.. well, everything from a minor wound somewhere to more dangerous diseases.
Except for the bowel control, that is a bit alarming. Is he usually "pedantic" (in lack of better words) with these kind of things?
But yeah, do what K'chief said, taking him to a vet is probably the best thing to do right now.

I hope it isn't Rabies. I forget the full list of early symptoms, but I remember increased hostility as being one of them.

I dunno about dogs, but in cats rabies is indeed the only thing that causes aggressive behavior. When they get sick with anything else, they just mope around and stop eating.

Duke: Has your dog stopped eating? He might indeed be feeling the onset of age.
