Watched a total of 3 Uwe Boll movies today, er, yesterday. Rampage wasn't bad, but then I followed it up with Postal. Postal, I think, is intended for a certain audience. I'm not sure what that audience is, and I'm not part of it. Probably the kind of audience who laughs at dead baby jokes. Oh, and it has nothing to do with Postal, save for a few references, such as using a cat as a silencer, and the main character's name being Postal Dude. Then I watched The Final Storm...
The Final Storm is a horrible movie. The acting is terrible along with the writing, and the ending is the worst ever.

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuugh fuck you, Lost, for making me cry.  The really sad part, I suppose, is that I don't even understand why I ended up crying so much or even caring about the show.  "Suspension of disbelief" kind of flew out the window at some point, roundabout when I realized I didn't understand the characters' motivations for doing anything.  Hell, I didn't even catch some horribly large amount of symbolism, or figure out what the deal with "making people do what one wants and letting them think it's their idea," in the end.  Of course, it all seemed right, somehow.  I'm fairly certain that part of my reaction is due to the fact that it's 5 in the morning where I live and I marathoned 4 seasons of this sucker in a week or so.

Well, I know how I'm blowing my time the summer after I get my bachelor's.  If I'm still around on the forums, you can expect a link to a lot of essays.

Cleaning thermal paste off my CPU and applying some new. I hadn't done this before. My first attempt failed, after 3 minutes of stress tests temperatures climbed to > 80 C with no sign of stopping.

The second attempt and I had to stop before even turning it on. One of the screws for holding the heatsink in place would not tighten, a bolt had slid a few mil out of reach meaning I had to start again.

Third attempt and things are working fine now.

Having to apply this horrid paste to my i7 once, let alone multiple times, was upsetting to say the least .
