Have to agree.

The main point of old gamers' RAEG is, they're using the title X-COM on a game that isn't related with X-COM in anything but killing aliens.

For the record, all I wanna cover now-a-days are the three bases on this board. Don't be sad, be happy, don't be total asses.

Because I'm starting to lose all reason to come here other than that I like the guys I used to post with.

Maybe if I find more time I'll actually make a worthwhile post, but as it stands any post in the "Things that make you blah" threads don't actually have to be more than one allcap'd sentence. Or two, or three.

Then find something else to talk about.  It's not goddamned hard.  Like, Dwarf Fortress, or other games, or wacky shit you saw on TV, or crippling psychological problems, or zany choose-your-own-adventure-to-be-abandoned games.
