They are trying to get a cap on it.

If they had a d10, they'd need to roll a 10 or above in order to completely cap it with the plan they've got, or in the way RTDs work, make it worse.

Hear about the flotilla fiasco?

My friend's sister was on that ship.

Talk about 6 degrees of separation.....

What nationality are you? If you don't mind me asking. (just curious!)

I don't mind.

I'm of a mixed descent (Polish/French/Syrian/Swiss) living in Canada. My friend is an Armenian who has family in Turkey (Some of whom are considered Turkish) and in the States.

I have got to stop playing freeware games I find on TV Tropes.

Why?

This. Don't click the picture. The result is not for the faint of heart.

That wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. I haven't had a good "huh..." in a while.

Buying manga on amazon.co.jp and having it shipped overseas is slightly cheaper than buying the English translation with free shipping. English manga is horribly overpriced, hence sadness.

I'd be more interested in this if there was an English translation.  Apparently, there's not.  Sounds fun though, so I might give it a shot, and just Gaijin-smash my way through the controls like I did to teh Toohoos.

I just had an amazing conversation with someone I felt as though I connected with on Omegle. It may be a silly thing, but I felt as if we were on the same wavelength, and we talked for nearly 2 hours. I was about to say that I was afraid something was going to happen and I was going to lose the conversation, but I kept being distracted by another topic... and then the window crashed, and I lost everything.

I'm feeling an inexplicable pang of loss, like someone just came into my life, and left just as swiftly. And for such a simple thing, it... feels absolutely terrible.

I just stumbled across something on the Internet that I'm amazed I didn't find before.  I can't and wouldn't say what it is, but it combined two very important touchstones for me, separated across time.  Important enough that I was floored for a couple minutes after seeing it.

Why I'm mentioning this in the SAD thread, is that suddenly reflecting on it reminds me that I've spent the past five to ten years of my life, the so called "golden years", doing essentially nothing, least of all any of the things I ever really wanted to do.  What makes me far more sad is that almost everything I run into, either daily or once ever, reminds me of the same, to the point that it doesn't even really phase me anymore.

I have a busy schedule tomorrow...

No work for me, again.

*sigh* I think I will start my 'Wisdom to the Children' plan :P That means, making an advertisement on teh local sites and offer teaching kids* English, and maaaybe help with basic Chemistry, dunno.

Young ones ~6-10 yrs old. Older will easily make me snap with their lack of patience :P

Anakin: "I'm slightly emotionally conflicted! The only splution is to slaughter children, forget how to jump and fight effectively, get half-melted in lava, and then get made into an angsty robot-man."

To be fair, the solution to a vast many of life's problems is getting made into an angsty robot-man.
