I'm sad that people's pets are dying.  That's always sad.  Meanwhile, I have to take care of my mother's dog again, because she's going out of town for the third weekend in a row.  At least she gave me some dog-food this time.

Oh yeah, lower-vs-upper forum stuff.  It is scary up there.  Scary because there's too many posts to read, and I'm kinda burned out of DF like I get with all games, and they've come up with all these new running jokes I don't get.  I still go "wha?" when I see posts about clowns and circuses.

And the upper forum is the DF boards. Lower forum is us. Called so because we are placed lower than them on the main page. I think.

The lower forums tend to be slower and populated mostly be regulars, whereas the upper forums are full of lots of people posting fast, sometimes only a few times before never coming back here again.

On the subject of Upper/Lower forums, I go to both, but I have lately been mostly on the RP forums. Creative projects is mostly Programming, which I tried once and then decided to never, ever go back, and GD has alot of random crap. Life advice just has alot of "My girlfriend left me and/or I'm suicidal", and all the DF forums have lately had a infestation of people unwilling to use the search function. I may migrate back up after the ripples from 2010 die down.

As for the High forums, I don't think any one goes there after bug reports died.
