The funny thing is, pagan is Latin for country dweller and simply means someone who follows a non-Abrahamic religion.
So ritual sacrifice and boar roasting can be pagan.
Sending wild boars after unarmed, starved Christians can also be pagan, though might require too civilized an infrastructure.
People who associate paganism with exactly one thing are fools.
It's a blanket term.

A group of religious people mistaking a joke for a serious comment? Gosh, I just can't see that happening.

Also, hunting and frying up a boar is something I must do with friends before I die.
