Neruz didn't deserve that ban in my eyes. And this apparent 5 strike system has me scared that I'd say something that would be deemed wrong. But there's nothing I can do besides try to avoid such things.

SO when where and what for was Neruz banned? I've seen comments on it but never saw the specific post.

I think it was more generally how he was acting.

And so on and so forth. And since it's the 5th time he's overstepped himself (the Atheist thread is a pretty good example of his inability to argue without flinging insults at people) and got too heated, he got banned. Nothing really new about that. If you want to remain here, you remain chill.

Neruz got banned in the middle of the thread about little girls who poledance. I think part of it may be that he was on the culturally unpopular side, though. This is just my view on what I saw in the thread, but it's true that it's a harrowing experience debating with him because he tends to be extremely aggressive against the people in question. I've never gotten warned for anything either, probably because I'm so manly and awesome that Toady and ThreeToe wouldn't ban me lest they risk losing their source material for the BRONZE COLOSSUS. It seems like it's pretty hard to get in trouble. Some people practically beg for it, though, as one fellow with a Nietzsche avatar finds to be an exciting past time.

Yeah, Toady is one of the most lenient admins I've seen around the interwebs. I base this mostly on the fact that, despite the number of locked/deleted threads I've been involved with, and the fact that I'm generally an ass, I haven't yet received a warning. And that the people who get banned are usually shit-disturbers or outright trolls. Most people need not worry.

It took me about 40 minutes to replace one of my cars brake-lights today, perhaps the simplest automotive maintenance task in existence, because I am a total dumbass. Starting to consider actually paying a mechanic to replace my oil pan, which at this rate would probably take me about 3 weeks to do myself.
