I was thinking of Generic Pretty Boy CXII, but the girl is covered up. Admittedly pretty badly, but if a 15 year old girl wearing skimpy outfits is pedophilia then I'm not sure why you're so surprised. It's not like Square Enix got there first. Have you never been to the beach?

My views could be blurred due to me being around the same age as her when I first played it, and I had no girls on school or wherever which even slightly resembled her in build. Only the 18+ girls in either the final year or the ones already out of school were similar.

To be fair, in Final Fantasy, the armour of the male characters is no better than the female characters.  It actually makes less sense in western RPGs imo, where the male characters often wear full armour while the female characters where almost nothing.

Final Fantasy actually does a pretty good job of avoiding excessive amounts of fanservice for the most part. X and X-2 were the only ones with any significant amount in them, though Rikku was the worst offender in the series by far.

As for the clothes... yeah, they're pretty ridiculous most of the time, but I really can't picture a Final Fantasy game where the characters had normal clothing, and most of the characters actually do look pretty cool.(except those in 12, ugh they look horrible)

Strange as it may seem, the boots are what get me most in that pic.

However, I did think that most of the male outfits in XII were fairly nifty, discounting the completely over-wrought judges' armor. The female outfits... well, let's just say that they knew what sells.
