I am a dumbass who didn't realize that thinking hard about math requires more calories than does sitting around doing nothing all day.  As such, I feel like I'm about to faint because I was an idiot who didn't pack a bag lunch.

Shit.

I am sad that people keep bumping Vester's thread, they've ruined it.

And they're not listening, even if I block them.

Fixed it for you, Toony.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I understand you want to get this thread re-started, but please stop with the bumping.  I am starting to get moderator reports.  If the OP wants to continue with the topic they can initiate that themselves.

Mod Reports for bumping? Srsly guize?

I just wanted to know where Vester went...

It would be kinda weird to be blunt about the part of me that's inflamed but let me just say it is extremely painful. And I'm running a temperature, have a cold sweat and I can't stop shaking.

Fun times.

I am discovering that mathematics is the single most exhausting thing I've pursued in my life.  On the other hand, I think that with every proof I learn the world is becoming a little bit clearer.

Dude, when you manage to sound seriously sick over a forum, you know you need to go to bed and drink plenty of fluids.

I am discovering that mathematics is the single most exhausting thing I've pursued in my life.  On the other hand, I think that with every proof I learn the world is becoming a little bit clearer.

Maths is this wonderful, beautiful tool for understanding the world that remains out of my grasp by about two thousand miles.

Smigen?
He's drunk.

I must admit to feeling rather sad about something.
During my lying-in-bed-staring-at-ceiling time today, I realized something that I should really think through. I may have to adjust my thinking and moral systems.

Maths is this wonderful, beautiful tool for understanding the world that remains out of my grasp by about two thousand miles.

Tell me about it.  I studied today for only seven hours straight, and found that I need to eat about 1.5 times what I usually do to feel full and alert.  It's really different when you aren't distracting yourself every few minutes with the internet, and are instead just sitting there concentrating for hour upon hour.

Anyway, tomorrow we add to our experiment a bag lunch, more sleep (so I don't headdesk and lose hours this time), a lighter backpack, and hopefully a more pleasant study experience overall.
