Apparently my country is getting even shittier whilst I'm away. :-\
Getting rid of Abbott makes it better. Unless you like Abbott, I guess.
I don't like him, he's just slightly less shit than the replacement.
I'm not sure it's possible to like a politician...

I'm going to be a bit late for this exam, which is making me nauseous from stress. And the person next to me is wearing terrible perfume, which also makes me want to vomit.

I imagine it's like in the United States when a Democrat incumbent gets defeated by a Republican challenger. Happens all the time.

He's quite snarky with that last word at the end. I could feel that burn from here.

It is much more like a highly neo-liberal clown of a republican being replaced by a more sensible republican (it was his own party that voted him out, the party is still in charge).

My sleep schedule would have been fixed tonight. I woke up early today after a full night of sleep, going to sleep tonight would have established it and I'd be ready for school. I only got to sleep for ten minutes when the fucking cat woke me up. Now I'm completely awake and alert... at two in the morning. Fuck's sake.

Abbott was more of a reactionary bible-basher than a neo-liberal. He really didn't have any strong views on economics one way or another, except for being against lefties.

It's more like the religious social conservatives vs the secular pro-business wings of the party fighting it out for the direction of the party.

It's fairly hard to imagine anyone being more "pro-business" than "let them use the Great Barrier Reef as a toxic waste dump".

As someone can't fall asleep until 9AM, I too feel the pain. My Mon/Wed classes start at 1PM.

Managed to sleep for 3 extra hours in the evening today yesterday, but then I woke up for no good reason. That probably could have fixed it, but I have a habit of falling off schedule anyways.

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.
