Spring break is for slacking and relaxing, right? So I should not feel guilty and feel like I'm wasting my time and being unproductive and doing nothing with my life. Right? Right?

I'm useless. I can hardly grind out advanced classes and help around the house adding maintaning a healthy relationship to that hasn't helped at all. I feel like a walking piece of useless emotional garbage sometimes. I'm glad that my mom finaly figured out something's wrong and talked to me. Is it odd that I cry more when people actually talk to me about things? My GF is down on the dumps and she's having family troubles, more than usual. My classes are getting harder and my parents are getting stricter about my grades. The seniors last year didn't lie saying that Junior year is the worst. It's like middle school depression all over again minus some things. I wish I had better relationships with my friends and my dad. I think we are finaly bonding (my dad and I) but it's long overdue. I wonder if I go down the same path my dad did if my kids will have to experience this? I wouldn't wish it on a single person, not knowing your father very well growing up seeing him occasionally and knowing he could easily get a different job and you could see him every day. I'm just venting at this point and the tears are rolling down, I was going to draw tonight but forget that... I wish I could help in some way besides prayer for my girlfriend and her family

Got hit by a kicked ball in the face during PE. Why does the universe need to remind me why I don't like PE every now and then. Also, the dude that kicked it hasn't apologized and apparently doesn't think it's his fault, which pisses me off immensely.

Ummm. Hurting people with your fists, feet, and/or sports equipment is basically the whole point of PE.
Not sure why he'd be expected to apologize.

I'm afraid Merriam Webster disagrees, given nothing in the definition it has provided even remotely suggests that hurting people is "basically the whole point of PE".

Back when I was a kid, I'd slip into personas a lot, too. It's a defense mechanism, and you shouldn't be ashamed of it.
Heck, I've been being someone I'm not for my whole life, to the point where I don't even know who I really am. It's only been recently that I decided to stop being what others want me to be, and just be what I want to be. I'm still figuring that out.

Hey, don't be ashamed of that. It's only through hiding behind personas that I found the real me. I'm a completely different person than I was even 3 years ago. My internet persona is now just as much me as my real life persona.

It does sometimes scare me how less worrying IcyTea31 is than I am, and how he is much more comfortable in expressing his opinions and at lighthearted snark.
