Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Coolest people on the forum are Redking, SalmonGod, Xant, Janet, and so forth.
[citation needed]
Nooo, those are cool folks by most any standard.
I wasn't doubting their coolness, I was requesting citations on the "-est" part.

Partly because I barely know any of them.

I'm all the citation you need, right here!  BAM!

But really, that's awesome of you to say, Descan.  Your innocent viking escapades for canadian social justice and immortality make my flagellum wiggle, too.  :P

Was spinning wheels, still am a little bit. Making traction.

A.) Old boss is old and cranky and won't give me credit for what I did, thankfully I have his signed full page letter of recommendation. Also I have all the stuff I did on my laptop where I wrote it.
B.) Recruiters don't like the word "assisted" on any resume or profile. It is there for regulatory reasons, becuase I did the work before I passed the bar under supervision of old boss lawyer. That's how you learn. Must think up better word.
C.) Date was jerk but this time I'm not sticking around to take his crap. We're done, and he had his chance. Gone.
D.) Have to testify against scary corrupt judge or be available to do so.
E.) People are saying it looks at first glance like I may be hiding something or had washed out of law.... No, but I was / am under witness gag order and couldn't explain corrupt judge situation above. Trying to get prosecutor to verrify my story. There is doumentation, and I simply need clearance on what to show vs. what not to. Even if I have to wait til after trial is over. It's all bullshit but expensive bullshit to me. Whistleblowers get screwed.
F.) Have lost a solid 10 lbs of depression weight and am keeping it off, but it is had, same deal with the negative self talk/toughts or whatever.

I know I'm new, I just don't see anybody on that list all that often :V No offense or anything, I just didn't have any grounds to verify that on.

Oh, hi, SalmonGod.

Oh, hi, SalmonGod.

Yeah, up until about a year and a half ago, I was a lot more active than I am now.  I got a new job, where I'm not able to sneak on the forum while at work anymore.  These days, I stick mostly to the political threads, and just glance at the emotion threads and other stuff once in a while to see what's going on with people... or when I want to share some thought or event from my own life.

Bought EU4 on the steam sale. Downloaded it and now Steam "cannot connect to the key server".

Dammit, I've been wanting to play this game for ages. Now you do this to me?

I think it's awesome that you withstand the BS well enough to take a stand against what's wrong. Here's hoping you weather it well, and get the job you want.

Pft, I go on here daily and I'm still not part of the coolkids.
Apparently the key to it is to a) be cynical b) dislike people in general and c) like girls
[/quote]

Wait wait wait... so if those standards make cool kids... then positive + liking people in general + liking guys... equals hot ppl?

... I'll be in my bunk.  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

... Wait, uhm.

No?

Coolest people on the forum are Redking, SalmonGod, Xant, Janet, and so forth.

I don't see how any of those fit that definition.

I certainly don't. I'll leave it to you guys whether I'm "cool" or not.

... Wait, who even DOES fit that definition? Cool or not, I can't think of anyone.
Janet's pretty contemptuous about people in general.
She also likes girls. :u
