I forgot how hard it was to do phys-ed class with asthma. Also, I currently don't have an inhaler or the means to get one, so yay.

I appear to be cursed. Every multiplayer game I've played for the last 5 days or so has ended in me suffering from a crushing defeat. I've tried like 5 different games and nothing seems to be making a difference, I've suffered everything from extremely bad luck to ragers leaving in the middle of a game we could have won, but every game comes up as a loss.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

I've had this in League of Legends the past week. Was doing fine, then lost like 10 games in a row and dropped a whole tier. :(

I'll be okay. I'm not explosively anything, or bleeding from any orifices. I probably won't even call in to work tomorrow.

I admire your work ethic if your standard for 'need to call in sick' is 'bleeding from at least one orifice'.

Eh, that one's tough. You can't really call in sick for a VD.
In fact you'd probably take less bathroom breaks, so that's nice for the employer.

I'll only call in if I'm vomiting uncontrollably or bleeding, or in the hospital for some reason. Yes, I've worked with diarrhea. I've worked with the flu. I've worked with a fever of 104. I've worked with a ruptured eardrum (four times, now. My eardrums are super weak.)

I don't have a super work ethic, and I'm not an iron man. I just seem to get fired every time I call in sick without a doctor's note, so I just don't call in sick anymore. 'Murica.

You have had a track record with work which puts Me to shame, and I'm that wonderful combination of habitually lazy, spacey and ditzy.

Aaaaand now I just cleared it with my boss to call in for today. First time I've called in sick in a long, long time. Can't stop running to the bathroom, not to mention the vomiting episode I had last night, and that's not going to work during the single coverage (working alone!) that I would be facing today, even though that would be a short period of time. A couple hours, at most.

Bluh, I feel so guilty calling in.

Alternatively, befriend a doctor. Having someone who can write you a note (or in a worst case, a prescription) for free is very helpful in the long run.

Did you explain to the boss your vomiting and regular running to the bathroom? I think that would justify you not being able to handle the single coverage. Would probably be bad for public image to have the lone game shop employee puking all over his customers during his shift, at least.
