My great grandmother was Belgian, apparently. Or something like that.

It seems that our family's general skin tone is a wee bit lighter, but that wee bit makes everyone start asking if we're American or something. Pair that up with the fact that I'm useless at Tagalog or any other language from my dear homeland, almost everyone I meet here thinks I'm a foreigner. That made me sad.

Okay. I need to ask, who else here is of the blood Pinoy? I know there should be more of us. It's a literal impossibility that there should be no one else.

EDIT: Quick search reveals that Phantom actually has some pretty badass Pinoy military blood, if he's not lying.

Oh, another thing that made me sad.

My mom brought some peanut brittle (the good kind that comes in those really thin sheets, you know, the ones from the Mountain Maid Training Center?) and I was all "Yum yum, I want some." ten minutes later, they're all gone.

Goddamn piranha-siblings.

I got. ONE. SHEET. THING. Raeg.

Oh well. At least I have my stash of ube hopia. Mmm...

Also, if I did the whole dealio with the duct tape, they'd be even more suspicious, or they'd think I was jacking off or something.

LET THEM.

It's worth it to keep your share of brittle. That shit's just too good to waste.

See, I was more suggesting that you duct tape your sliblings inside a sound-proof closet, not the other way around.

Man, MSH, have you ever tried peanut brittle? It's some good stuff. Seriously. Probably kill you if you're allergic, of course.

You'd have to get the good one, you should keep in mind.

The ones where the sheets are really really thin and the peanuts are in little tiny pieces....

Mmm...

You see that? That's peanut brittle. All the stuff in there that's not peanuts is the brittle. Which is caramelized sugar, fuck yes.
