Pesterchum needs Java, but that's about it. What's the error?

I'm trying to learn how to stitch my sandals back together, and running into technical problems... I have no idea how to anchor the thread, backstitch, or anything... and unless I can repair it, I can't wear them. :/

I learned today that the oil spill estimates may have been off by over 200,000 gallons. There may be a million or more gallons of crude headed through my hometown soon. :(

Just found out that Chmod has abandoned Dwarf Therapist. I'm sad for myself as a gamer, and for him, as he seemed quite happy doing it until the demand/neediness of the community drove him away.

The Therapist didn't have the patience, so now the patients don't have a Therapist.

Just spent an hour a few days downloading the champions online demo a MMO all my friends love, only to have the server down so I cant play it, then the game sucks anyway.

Maple Story was one, Grand Chase was another, so was Divine Souls.  With Maple Story and Grand Chase, I couldn't help but think "you know, Super Smash Bros has a lot more freedom compared to these, why can't I just play that instead..."  Divine Souls just didn't function, period.

Some of the Filipino were so obsessed with Maplestory it was a little crazy.

They handed in computer project using sprites from the game as examples.

Those commercials advertizing some new prestige class just ended a few months ago. Feh, MMO's. Waste of good gaming time.

Eh, I like Champions Online.
The only MMO I've got a lot of time in is City of Heroes.  I really like it for some reason, just having 7 other dudes kicking the poo poo out of huge rear end mobs is really fun.
