I was about to say, "well, it makes about as much sense as 'love broadcast', I guess whoever he's talking about must have been declaring his love for something... I guess whatever he's in court about."

I have no idea what the context is right now, I just know there's a "love broadcast" going on, which sounds like pornography, so I'm 'nope'ing out of here before I see that.

It IS Flabort, so it's probably a joke.

Cryxis, you're welcome to talk more about your opinions on the whole Ferguson thing in the thread for it, but you're derailing the thread a bit here, and that's making me feel sad.

ok, live feed from the prosecutor. But you can't take the prosecutor as an unbiased source in any legal case. "Spin" is every lawyers job. Normally, the state prosecutor will spin things to make the suspect look bad, that is his job description. But when it's a cop, it's the reverse: prosecutor's department and the police have a very close relationship, that the defense counsel does not have.

Since the prosecutor and police work together to make cases, the prosecutor is normally the guy covering the cops asses if they do the wrong thing. Of course, the defense counsel representing the cop is also on the same side, so in these cases you get the prosecutor falling over backwards to let the guy off, and the defense guy gets an easy win.

If the prosecutor in a case is giving you extra information which seems be pushing for the guy to be let off, rather than stating the evidence against that person, that's him corruptly fucking his job up, basically to let someone off. This only happens when it's a cop.

Is he kidding or being serious?
Yes. I was kidding, don't worry.
That's why I started it with "Was going to say".
Er...
I guess it could be clearer.

Hey, don't feel too bad, I've been told that my tone of voice changes not at all between sarcastic, joking, and serious, to the point where when in history class we were classifying various groups and events and someone said, "The KKK is obviously social", my response of "No, it's totally economic guys" was met with concerned looks rather than grudging chuckles.

Ok sorry
I will post one last thing and I will be done

The prosecuted was announcing the jury's verdict
The jury was made of a cross section of Missourians and then there are the eye witness reports from African Americans, who are also supported by physical evidence

I don't care how he spun it, the case still came out as the cop being entirely justified

If you don't trust the prosecuter well too bad cause just like about any other position it was popular vote that got him there
Wait, what? That's horrifying.

When I try to be sarcastic or joking, people believe me. It's sometimes dissapointing, because I actually get almost 100% belief when I try to make a joke.

I coughed in class, someone asked me if I was okay, so I said "I'm dying" in a really sarcastic tone...  And they grabbed their phone to dial an ambulance. And they weren't even trying to be funny, they were actually calling 911.

One of my best friends just told me she's transferring to another school next year.  We've been growing closer over the last little while so it came as a bit of a shock when I got the news.  She texted me about it instead of telling me face to face and it hurts.

That's sucky of her. Most important news should be delivered in person.
