That's pretty much me there, birdman. Can't study, was a genius, probably going to fail.
Dito. Well, not so much fail as fail to be good (as opposed to decent) at what I do.

Forgot to post this earlier.

Had a really really good dream last night about something I will not state here.

Woke up and got really sad that it didn't happen.

Still sorta bleh.

I hate it when that happens. I once woke up convinced I had a pet monkey :P

Usually the other way round for me. Usually having to evacuate from impending disasters or something and leaving folks behind.

Huzzah! I'm not the only other "genius" who has the work ethic of someone who has no work ethic (I'll come up with a better analogy later). Flunked out of Uni here, had kids and got a steady job in the real world instead. Not that Uni would've gotten me much better of a job! Ha! 10/10 would fail again (maybe withouth the massive amounts of student loan next time though).

I wouldn't say genius (Not by a very long shot) but I could certainly do with a better work ethic. I am a procrastinator when it comes to work..."I'll do it tomorrow..."

Hrm. People say I'm smart too, it gets rather annoying. There's a difference between being smart and not doing the homework, so improvising and making points up about the text :P

For the record, I'm not calling myself a genius, hence the quotation marks. Just showing solidarity with all my brethern who have gotten the "you're very smart, you'd do so well if you just applied yourself" speech multiple times in your life.

Applying yourself enough to not fail, saying "close enough," then going no further due to the strain. Then feeling disappointed that you just can't muster enough effort to go the extra step, and you feel like you're loosing control of your life :(

Time to listen to some relaxing music.

It makes me feel kinda sad when the notes we get at the end of the year (summary: you write your name on a paper, pass it around, all of the class has to write something good about you) has 20 times "You're really smart" and one or two "You're a good person/friend".
But how many in the class actually know you? And what do you write on their papers?
