The Human Resources game which looked so awesome was cancelled: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/659943965/human-resources-an-apocalyptic-rts-game

Every Kickstarter prediction model is showing that we will come up woefully short of our goal. Running a Kickstarter is a full time job for several people. As a small indie, we can’t continue spending time and money focusing on a project that won’t get funded.

And given how their last project went...

Well... they kind of deserved it.

You do realize this means even less support for PA, don't you? Because without a new revenue source, they're almost certainly going to be laying off a bunch of people who otherwise would have been working with the engine and refining it for the benefit of both projects. That's how these things work in the real world.

Sucks to be them.

I wish time and effort directly translated into money and quality... but alas.

Do not fuck around with this.

Guess who's calling for a CT scan at 9AM tomorrow? :(

Also a weird thing is that my mom (and to a lesser extent my dad) cannot emotionally process bad news. They keep insisting everything is fine. Once when a sibling broke a hand, they kept saying he was fine, til he got a ride to the hospital and an x ray.... It's a "hear no evil, see no evil," type of crazy.... Mom will disappear into being busy when things are bad. She floored an entire room in one night once as a distraction. Go figure.

Now my mind is racing. I hope it's not that thing but if it isn't then why have I been having headaches and metal taste and gah.... Slight freaking out.

Wow, that's... that's pathological. Like, 'possibly requires professional help' pathological.

I am pretty much absolutely sure I'm being lied to. And the fucked up part is I'm scared they'll break up with me... Even though I'm planning to break up with them as soon as I see them again.

I'm so fucking confused and tired and lost. So much bullshit.
Talk to them straight up instead of breaking up on assumptions and presumptions on one or the other :<
Helps with the confusion because honesty.

I've been trying to. For weeks. They keep lying to me and ignoring my concerns, or emotionally manipulating me. It's a running trend at this point.

Well you never know how... Subjective a lot of these issues are.

That being said, we've all been through absolute crap at times, so I'm inclined to believe people at their word, unlike on any other forum.

Were you the one with the 13-year-old cousin that got someone else pregnant? All the family drama around here starts to run together after a while .__.

Yeah, that was my cousin.

Cryxis, would you like to elaborate? I hope it wasn't anything involving injury.

.-.
I don't know if I want to

It involves my cousins health and my family being mad at my mom for having my uncles, ex wife tell him about it instead of my mom doing it. And that she told my mom fist instead of anybody else
