Have I ever posted something happy in the happy thread? I don't think so...
It's almost midnight, the depression is coming, tears soon. I'll just preemptive strike and post here first...

Oh yeah, I did what my mom wanted but she didn't give me my tablet, just took my computer's power cable.

Post wisdom teeth removal pain. Even through good ol' opiates I feel like ripping my eye out and maybe most of my jaw, too. Probably a chunk of the temple area, as well. Hurts, it does, and keeping pressure on th'gauze to make the bleeding stop just makes it hurt that much more.

Plus the whole bleeding thing. Messy, bleh.

*Offers hugs to everyone*

Today sucked ass.

Woke up extremely tired (I had to be for an EEG brain scan thing), then drove to the doctor's place to get all the tests done.

First, the EEG itself. They stuck about a dozen little electrodes to my head, told me to close my eyes, and flashed some lights that were blinding me through my closed eyelids at a speed so fast that I couldn't comprehend it.
Then, they had my intentionally hyperventilate to the point where I lost feeling in my arms, legs, and chest, which I didn't even know was possible.
After that, they began the Nerve Conduction Test.
They told me they would stick me with needles, but the person assured me that wasn't what was going on.
That was awesome.
Then they said that they would be shocking me with electricity.
I don't know how long it went on, but it felt like hours, and I was crying uncontrollably by the end of it.
And then the guy with the needles came in.
Turns out when the one person said there wouldn't be needles, they meant they wouldn't be the one stabbing me with needles.
There were most definitely needles, and they hurt like hell.
About halfway through, I was literally begging the guy to just give me one minute to rest, and he said "Ok."
Then he stabbed me again when I wasn't looking.

I am tired, and my eyes hurt from crying so much today.

The best part? I got the results of all those tests right afterwards. Turns out that none of them came up with any idea of what's wrong with me, so they have pretty much no additional info than before they started.

And that right there is why I'd never go into medicine. I don't wanna do that to people. It's horrifying.

That sounds terrible, mastahcheese. I really wish I could offer more than internet sympathy and good wishes, but I can't, so I hope the rest of your day is less horrible,

No, I honestly think that's something wrong with the healthcare system. Doctors usually behave like people in NZ.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I plan on spending the rest of the day either at the library, or motionless in bed.

So unless something comes along to screw that plan up, then I'll be fine.

...You know, I never really thought about how much something like a tazer would hurt, but they said that thing was less than a single volt, and it hurt that badly.

Still sucks to be sick.

My body feels weak, and dragging it across town feels like a load of limp noodles slithering under the influence of a puppeteer with Parkinson's

Ugh my head. I literally feel the flow of blood stream through the veins in my head and it feels like some evil monkey tapping my skull with a mini mallet just enough to make it annoying as hell. My mind feels like it's lost in a static fog, with every input fed through some old 1950s radio filter.

It's unpleasant

I don't know if it's a side effect of whatever bug I've been sick with the last couple days, or if it was something I ate or drank, but something gave me a case of the magma sprays.

rip in peace my butt.
