First day off in a week. Woohoo, right? Wake up at 8am with severe intestinal distress. Back to bed. Wake up again with migraine. Try to go back to bed and can't. Take super hot shower in hopes of alleviating some of the symptoms. Have small breakfast. Symptoms get worse. Can't go with wife to pick up daughter from school and see my family as planned. Want to curl up and die.

Worst. Day off. Ever.

The 504s yesterday made me sad, and more than a little frustrated.
Kind of like a straight, gay, or bi guy who hasn't "got some" in over 5 years, except it was that I couldn't reach the forums for over 5 hours.

...that's petty.

However, I'm also still frustrated with the work situation (I've been getting emotional support from family and co-workers, though). My turban-wearing co-worker still hasn't learned to do anything but ask customers what they want and take their money (OK, that's not fair, he can make coffee and two other drinks so far, and he's slowly learning to communicate the order to the rest of us), my two other new coworkers ask more questions than anyone I've worked with before (At least the first one is starting to ask "Did I do this right?" instead of "[sic] How I do this?"), I'm getting tired of the three of them calling me "buddy" instead of my name, the staff who came in on loan (one from the Chartwells side coming from SAIT in Calgary, the other two from Tim's Corporate) are only there during the morning hours even though they are there for training of the new staff, who are only there during the evening hours, so no training gets accomplished, so while we do have more staff during the breakfast and lunch rush (the loaners), I feel that it's ineffective.
Also, I am tired of not having the full menu. I am tired of saying "No, I'm sorry, we don't have English Toffee at this location", "I'm sorry, we don't have Soups here", "I'm sorry, we don't have Iced Coffee/Lunch Sandwiches/Bacon after 12:00/Espresso Shots/Pumpkin Flavor Shots/Lunch Sandwiches/Soups/LUNCH SANDWICHES/Snack Wraps/Oatmeal/FREAKING LUNCH SANDWICHES/Yogurt/<Whatever we ran out of today>/That kind of Donut/LUNCH SANDWICHES/any baked goods left at this hour/Lunch sandwiches at this location", etc.
