You don't greet people that way?

I just had a birthday party. I kissed 3X cheeks today, where X is the number of girls :P
(not 3X different cheeks)

I just greet most people with "hi". Some of my friends hug, which I think is awkward.

Physical contact with other people is an alien concept to me.

I was under the impression greetings people by kissing cheeks was a pretty dominant thing in Western culture, aka most people on the board.

Nope.

I don't even like hugs. Awkward things. I'd hate being kissed.

In certain European countries, maybe. I've never seen people greeting each other that way in the States. Handshakes or simple waves are more common.

It may just be my britbongery, but physical contact is to be hated with a burning passion.
Unless it's intimate or ironically intimate. Then it's fine.

Not in America.

I've never seen it done personally to anyone under any circumstance, except on TV Talk shows where the guests will kiss the cheek of the host, and even then in my youth I was sure it was just freaky-as-shit hollywood thing.

It is a custom that simply does not exist in the United States (except for first-and-second generation immigrants from cultures where it is common), and is far from universal in Europe.

Well it only happens here when you haven't seen someone in a while or congratulate him/her.

And of course only if one or both people are female. Although that's not necessarily the case depending on how urban/gay you are.

I've never known anyone to kiss the cheek.

Then again, Northern Ireland isn't a huggy-kissy place anyway.

Where I live, a kiss on the cheek and a slap from a duelling glove are basically the same thing.
Only the first one causes more people to get involved.

I've heard tons of horror stories about ADHD meds, except when I talked with someone who actually took them himself. He thought they're pretty amazing.
My brother and I have both been on them for years. He refuses to take them on non-school days, but I've always felt I needed them to pay attention. I've been out for almost a year now, and it's noticeably harder to concentrate on some things, but on the other hand I've developed a lot of skills to help me focus without them now.

In the Rhineland we do 'Bützchen' during carnival. Pretty much exactly that: Girls being kissed on the cheeks.
Of course carnival is meant to make fun of the French and their general gay-ness. We don't do that as a regular thing.

Hell, I'm even a bit uncomfortable with hugging, but some/most of my female aquaintances insist on it. It's made worse by my size: If I'm not careful and they're the wron size, I'll bash their nose in with my shoulder.
