It happens sometimes. The third possibility that you're not taking into account is that you're neither socially inept, nor causing dislike, but simply that other people don't realize they're paying you less attention. It's actually suprisingly easy to simply not pay someone attention, which is sad for both parties involved.
Just try to be more active in your communication attempts? I wish I could offer more advice, but I'm the kind of person who enjoys not being noticed, so I have little experience in fixing that.
The problem is the abysmal amount of results out given effort put in. As in, people totally blanking me to go and do not really anything (negating the possibility of it just being a priorities thing. And even if it were that, that takes all of 2 seconds to explain.) despite my own enthusiasm. And it's pretty bad form to pester someone after they've made it clear they want nothing to do with you, so I don't, but it just totally perplexes me as to why.

* greatorder cancels browse: Demolishing glass pyramid.

I wonder why The Glass Pyramid sounds like a title of a single to me.

Today's sad: Tried to draw a half-decent picture of a dorf or an elf or one of my DnD characters or something during my spare time today, and discovered that I am incapable of making an image worthy of being on a character sheet. Little comics? Why not? Sketches of un-named characters? Have at thee! But drawing somebody the way I had imagined them (particularly women-- my style seems to make faces look masculine every time)? If I ever try to do that, I should be thrown into the underworld.

:(

At least my mouse skills are marginally better and I also learned how to properly draw a clenched fist.

I know "Castle of Glass" is a song.

But I don't really know how else to offer advice, Grak, as I'm clueless in the subject.

Not like you could really be expected to help. It was more of a venting and self-validation thing than really asking for advice, since that would require me giving details on everything that happens in a social interaction, most of which I probably don't even really perceive. It's just one of those things that happens and it'll probably stop when whatever changed unchanges.

Reminds me of Under a Glass Moon.

One of the great things about DT's song names is that most anything can remind you of one.

Oh yeah, it's probably Under a Glass Moon and The Glass Prison smashed together. Damn, DT loves their glass, don't they?

Be sexually frustrated

Masturbate to porn

Be even more sexually frustrated

Watch even more porn

Repeat ad infinitum until I kill myself.

If it makes you feel better, death by jerkin' it too hard can't be a bad way to go, as far as such things go. Although I presume here that that's the cause of death, as opposed to a side-effect of a dangerous fetish or something. Avoid autoerotic asphyxiation, is what I'm getting at, I guess.

But seriously, I hope the universe stops dicking you around and a situation arises in which you can act according to your sexual preferences with a willing partner. I'm given to understand that's some important stuff for people to be able to do re: continued mental health. So at least you've got the knowledge that feeling shitty about this is a perfectly reasonable thing to feel.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Well, Tiruin, I'm pretty sure I know the cause and it's because I don't have a vagina or any of my kind in this area.

Attempts at artwork continue and fail.

I just can't portray people with regular eyes* well with a mouse.

Maybe I should hire a [Random things you drew/shop/made]-er to do it... :|

Your problem is you're using a mouse. Generally, that's like using a brick for painting. It can work, but it's different, and way harder than using a graphics tablet for most digital art things.

Sexual frustration is not the most difficult thing to find the cause of, really.

Attempts at artwork continue and fail.

Can't possibly be worse than any of my artings.

Just keep practicing, and you'll get better. Though using a mouse is a pain to do.
