If skeleton was feet, would not muscles be socks?

Also obligatory bear feet joke.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Slippers all the way.

Another 12 hour shift for the equivalent of $7.16 per hour. Oh joy :/

According to Google, California's minimum wage is $9 by the way.

That's worryingly not-legal sounding.

Oh, it's perfectly legal, because I get paid by the mile rather than the hour. On an average day I make roughly $86, but exactly how long my shift is is entirely up to chance. I might get lucky and work a hyper-condensed 7-7.5 hour shift and make a little over minimum wage. Or, on days like today, I end up sitting around doing nothing for several hours and not get home until well after midnight.

Minimum wage in Kentucky is around 7 dollars and something.
I make 7.90 an hour, because I've been working here for over two years.

I think minimum wage in Ontario is close to 11 bucks now. Most of Canada is around that.

Sorry, dude, I'm in the boot camp. I really miss my Savate ring boots.

I miss your Savate boots too :P

I actually have been wanting to get some, because:

a) Steel fucking toed, heavy boots. It's like wearing a tank on your foot, protection-wise.

b) Savate is actually one of the few martial arts I'd genuinely interested in learning, for quite a while now too, but lolnope, only things around are Asian stuff, which I kinda hate with a passion for dumping bullshit philosophy in mah GBH.

Look for an MMA gym. No philosophy, just lifting weights, cardio, and punching faces. I've always found that martial arts philosophy is pretty cherry picked to represent whatever sensei likes anyway.
