I worked out what causes some avatars to scale down funny. Unfortunately, it's a fairly fundamental problem with the .gif format.

I wonder why sometimes this happens to my avatar o_O
...Or, y'know, it appears a tiny bit bigger then resizes once the page is fully loaded.

OKAY I guess being a downer is my quirk but that's overrated, especially in Bay12.

So I'm at that state of tired where I don't feel like doing anything but at the same time I cannot bring myself to call it a day and go to sleep. I've done nothing "productive" all day so logically I can't go to sleep with a clear conscience.

I don't do much "productive" most days. Learn to enjoy it, rather then feeling guilty about it. It sounds like a good day to me.

You could always try oscillating between being so ridiculously compassionate that you feel horrible just thinking about other people being sad and so indifferently callous that reading about horrible atrocities evokes only a sense of grim satisfaction.

Compromise! Bring half the books, and wear pants only half the week. That way if anybody complains, you can point out that this is really you going out of your way to show concern for social expectations.

That's already pretty much what I'm like.
So yeah, overrated.

The last taxi driver I had was actually pretty good. So, you know.

And then there was the time I was semi-conscious in the backseat of one whilst the driver chattered away to my friend in the front about fucking the police... rather literally. In broken English, too, which added to the amusement.
Haven't had any real bad experiences with cab drivers, as far as I can recall.
