Why do I keep agreeing to do weekend shifts?

I think I'm getting too stressed out. Or sick. I don't know.

Told my mother that I wouldn't be able to go visit over the weekend because of work. She's not happy about that.

Did you laugh maniacally? I would, if I were in your situation. Also, it relieves stress if you do it properly.

I slipped down some stairs in the dark. It hurt.
Ow.

I do not like pain. :<

Well technically pain is just trying to remind me not to hurt myself, but still...

Pain just cares about you. It hates to see you suffering, it really hates it.
So don't hurt yourself, people, you'll make Pain sad. :(

My dog chewed up my favorite sketch book and two of the cats haven't come home and there are coyotes howling right across the road and I'm worried they might have eaten my kitties ;-;

Reminds me of the time I forgot how ice worked and slipped down some icy stairs on my ass and back

Really it was just the small of my back that got all scraped, which wasn't bad at all. Combine with the impact of cold, hard stairs, and it's constantly eeeugh.

One of my young relatives is being picked on in school, coming home with clothes covered in mud from being pushed down, crying, etc. Has bruises....

I am overjoyed with this development.... [long brooding]
