I love what's normally called bad weather. I love it less when a tornado comes down less than a dozen miles away and knocks out the power for a good chunk of the day. Also major storm is apparently starting to kick off as I type, sooo... power has good chance of going again before the night's over. At least the rain keeps the heat off, a little. Until it stops and there's no AC and hello post-storm swamp hell, ahahaha.

At least power's back for a bit. Maybe'll it'll trudge through.

You know what sucks about this thread?

I look at it and realize that my issues are really minor.

Which makes me hate myself for ever complaining.

Sorry everyone for wasting your time.

Greatwyrmgold got banned.

I didn't have many interactions with him but he had 40 posts per day... clearly the forum was a big part of his life :(

Your ribs are ok. Now go post. This isn't a competition for sadness--everyone has varying degrees of sad in their lives and if they can't cope with it, probably venting it or telling others they trust about it = good.

My sad: I can finally connect to B12!
I can't however post or update anything longer than x paragraphs. Or pics!

Wait, aren't you the guy who is depressed and suicidal?

... Yeah, I don't think that would count as "minor sad" if that were even a thing to be. But it isn't, all sads are sads and no sad is under 18, they're all the age of majority and therefore count :V

or something

This characterization of me brought me out do seclusion a for a moment, specifically the suicidal part. I am not, in fact, suicidal: you're thinking of Objective. I believe that there is a possibility of being happy again in death, but an equal or greater chance of things being worse than they are now. As such, suicide is a gamble I wouldn't take.

I can honestly say that I'm not really surprised by that. He just would not stop picking fights with people, and would not back down when faced with clearly losing an argument. He wasn't stupid, but damn was that boy stubborn, prideful, and on occasion, self-righteous.

Bleh, someone I know decided to start hating me because I don't share his preferences in music.

Lil sad, although I wasn't particularly attached to him and I was aware he had that kind of mental issue so I'm not super surprised about it. Still hurt though.

I'm pretty much over it by this point though, it happened hours ago and the last pangs of sadness faded a good two hours ago.

Oh well, his loss.

What? I know I'm not being helpful, but what?  :-\ Going by that, I would have to hate almost everyone I know.

Oh well, his loss.
Aye. You are a wonderful young man Trap, Kevak. I'll stop being unhelpful now.

Yah, person has a bit of a mental problem methinks.

You are currently being helpful.

Also I like your taste in music based on what you have linked here so far.

I feel stuck.

- studies: POOR <Finals in 10 days, preparation minimal, will low>
- programming: STAGNANT <Haven't finished anything, haven't programmed in a while, lacks time to program anyways>
- college prospects: DISMAL <only thing going for me are good standardized test scores. Grades mediocre and I don't have much to show other than programming stuffs that college admissions officers may ignore>
