This is probably why a lot of INTJs are obsessed with efficiency and the usage of external computer utilities to help them remember things, but I typically compensate by having a very small number of friends and interests, to whom I am exceptionally loyal. When I start having more friends that I'm actively trying to work on the relationship with, I actually have to keep a notebook and write out my plans so that I can keep everything straight.

Why not just be spontaneous, they ask? Because my instincts for behavior are not very good and there's terrible ping when it comes to accessing that server X3
Late as hell, but I'm INTP if I recall correctly, and this is still me. I am not big on using external computer utilities because I forget to check on them, so I like to keep things straight in my head as much as possible, but I go far out of my way to keep my obligations minimal and dedicated specifically to cut out on the mental load. And spontaneous, I ain't. I've tried it before - I'm just uncomfortable through the whole experience and, quite frankly, that seems to drag down the fun for everyone else involved. Unless they're too drunk to notice, but then I'm even more uncomfortable (and this hasn't happened since college). Trying to figure out how to behave without time to think about it in advance is just... egh. It's why I spend so much time rehearsing potential conversations in my head.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Well, not posting it here because spoilers, I'm not terribly torn up about it, but it was pretty sad. I'll still PM you if you want.

Yes, it does. In German (as I recall), words come in Male, Female, and Plural Female.
Wrong. They have male, female, and neutral.

Yes, yes, I don't remember German correctly, you've made your point.

GWG is gone, and... Instantly everyone is badmouthing the guy. Like, sentence after "We'll all miss him" is "Thank god that ass is finally gone" instant.
For posterity, nobody has ever said that or badmouthed him out loud. >_>
At all.
This generalization is just...

And by that I mean a certain part of the majority...and that's only a part. These things were pretty obvious years ago. ._.

Pointing out mistakes is a point now? Shit, I'm more opinionated than I thought.

Pointing out
Oh wait, I see now.

Yes, it does. In German (as I recall), words come in Male, Female, and Plural Female.
Wrong. They have male, female, and neutral.

I like Swedish for that: they have male/female mashed together, and neutral. And they abolished the formal address form.

German pronouns seem to be to be selected at complete random.

Dutch has male/female/neuter genders, but the distinction between male/female nouns only ever comes into play when you're using pronouns to refer to objects, in which case most people just use "it" or one of the male/female pronouns at random. (And nobody cares)

(The distinction between neuter/gendered is a bit more important because the article is different for neuter words, "het" for neuter, "de" for gendered, mostly people just use what sounds right which is correct 95% of the time)

(Sorry for derailing)
