They managed to fuck up my arm at the blood drive. Hello, internal bleeding and not actually being able to give blood!
I've always feared this happening, and I am sad to hear it happened to you. How bad is it?
This bad. Can't fully retract my arm, and some strength loss that has mostly subsided by now. It's unfortunate, but it won't keep me from trying again next time. I am going to the school health services to get it checked out more in depth tomorrow though, but only because a friend of mine is insisting.

I actually don't have much of a problem with needles anymore. I used to, but for the most part I can tolerate them now.

Tiurin, I have to say that you are the most cheerful, kind and infectiously idealistic person I've had the pleasure to talk to in my entire life and that reading your comments helps me fight depression better than any pills. Thank you very much for always brightening my day :D.
I learn from my parents :v
Yay though! \o/
Muhwahwahwa my plan is coming to fruition.

SOON EVERYONE WILL BE INFECTED
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Oh goodness >_<
Errh, sad to say, these things happen--common accident due to either deep veins, or experience of the draw'er. Good thing? Minor to trivial damage that your body can't not repair.
On the good side, it still looks good (in the way that you're giving blood~and the body's healing system kicks in) :D

I hate needles so much, because the medical people around here don't know what they are doing.
And yes, the happys are contagious.

Yeah, the guy who was welding the needle didn't seem all that confident, and was highly apologetic without stopping to explain what actually happened until I specifically asked.

My mother is the Needle Goddess.
She could probably inject a sleeping person and they won't wake up.
As in not wake up because it didn't hurt, by the way, not because they're dead.

I'm really going to have to sit down and have that conversation about college with my parents... It's something I promised myself I'd do by tomorrow but... yeesh, I'm terrified of doing it, mostly due to a mixture of being terrified of the idea of sorting it out/worrying I'll get it all wrong, and the fact that the last time I brought the subject of moving away up with my parents, my mother had one of the worst freak outs I've ever seen her have. And I've been feeling very afraid history might repeat itself.

Still it's just something I can't keep putting off.

Reminds me of my past~ :D
I spent a lot of time in my childhood in the hospitals~
So NEEDLES AND IV FLUIDS, GO!
Yes it was painful. Though I learned a lot about human anatomy when reflecting back :/
...
Though this really hindered me in MedTech because LOLOLFEAROFNEEDLESAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Nobody understands my pain there u_u
The cold sweat, the feeling that even if you're FULLY 100% consciously trying, your hands shake and you get nervous and go into reaction-sense...even after conditioning yourself for weeks beforehand.
What makes me sad is that 99% of the people there don't get it :/ (or, do get it but don't show that they do get it and I interpret their answer as 'they don't understand')

Yeah, when I went back and re-read that second line devoid of context, it was creepy as hell.  :o

And now I have to write a series of four half-assed essays for my Intermediate Latin Prose class due tomorrow that I've had the whole semester to do. Good thing the prof is lenient, I'm sitting on lots of extra credit, and they only have to be a page each.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I finally beat Dark Souls today. After 2 months and nearly 200 hours.

It's sad because it was an amazing game, and now it's over. :'(

Also, my Dark Souls related sad from a couple weeks ago that I can post now that I'm not avoiding all discussion for spoiler reasons:

Yeah, seriously. Stop beating yourself up.
I constantly, and I mean obsessively worry about being irritating to people. Even when I'm trolling people, I still worry about being genuinely irritating.
There's actually someone that said they'd tell me if I get irritating and I will hug them forever for that.

I dunno why, but I'm just constantly hungry lately. Like, an hour or two after I eat, no matter how much I had, suddenly severe hunger pangs for no reason. Staying satiated seems to require like 4000 calories a day and I sure as hell am not burning it all, so I dunno what the deal is. Just gonna have to deal, I guess.

Are you sleeping enough? Supposedly, sleep deprivation makes you hungry.

Everything is bleeurgh this week. I've finished almost all of my tasks for this week, so today's practically a holiday, but... meh. It's now winter, and I like the cold, but... eh. I have a hike through a forest I've never been to this evening, but... eh. This is a lame state of being.

Also I seem to be reverting to my old eating habits, which is probably actually a really bad thing.
