I had a couple of Japanese tourists come up into my yard.
The guy who rented out the downstairs at the time chased them off with a huge metal rake.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

The guy downstairs was Irish and half-drunk at the time.

Wow, if they are Irish when they are half-drunk, what happens when they are fully drunk?

Being of Irish blood myself; I just advise it's not a good idea to piss us off when we're that drunk. And just for the record, that guy doesn't speak for the rest of the Irish. He probably had some issues (then again, if they were trespassing, that's a different case).

I'd chase off trespassers with a large metal rake.
Especially if they were stupid tourists.

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

I'm sad because my Dwarves are too stupid to drink when they get thirsty. Stupid dwarves.

I am sad because I do not know of any way to wipe out a fortress by flooding it with booze...

Goddam tourists. GET OFF MY LAWN! There isn't even anything of interest here! Sure we have quite a few good museums and there are the monuments, but after hitting the museums there really isn't anything to see when the cherry blossoms are not blooming or some political party is not pulling a rally.

I suppose that's a plus on my end as well. Considering time and weather cycles and such, tourists are predictable as hell.

You can tell locals apart from visitors easily when it rains or hurricane season arrives. Once a hurricane is on the horizon, it becomes a ghost town over here aside any remaining locals as psychotic as my family and I am to stick around and ride it out. I mean, a tropical storm is a cool breeze. I mean, we can sunbathe to these. Now a CAT-II, that's street-wind surfing weather; I guess CAT-IV (actually, anywhere around III) or higher, the law intervenes and we have no choice but to evacuate. But only because the law says to.

Fortunately, our forces aren't incompetent, and we take their word for it.

EDIT:
And speaking of spotting tourists. Considering my town is proclaimed a Shark Capital, I suppose it's fair to acknowledge that the sharks can easily tell locals and vacationers apart. Locals don't reek of a second-skin of sunblock; and don't taste as good as local meat. Does that stop the local surf communities? Hell no.

Kinda makes me look back at how many times I've unwittingly swam in shark infested waters, and not been bothered once by them. Then again, I respect their territory, they ignore me.
