Steam seems to have somehow completely reset my copy of FTL. Save, Achievements, everything. I'm sure it's fixable somehow, but now I have to figure out how to get all of that stuff back rather than getting to play the game. >:(

Have you looked for the FTL file? Maybe something happened to that.

I'm still a bit sad and shaken from yesterday. Also, my family and I are going to visit my great-grandmother for her 100th birthday, but she's in a deep dementia and probably won't recognize or remember any of us.

That's harsh. Really harsh. I know exactly how you feel, except my granny lived with us despite her deep dementia right until the very end. It was very hard. My mum wouldn't have it any other way, though; but still, knowing she didn't know who I was, knowing that she, right until the very end, remembered the dogs name and not any of her relative's....it's difficult. I wish you all the best.

Turns out, if you get depressed and stop exercising for several months, your limbs might be a bit stiff and weak when you try to start again. By "a bit" I mean "you're weaker than the first time you ever worked out".

That's normal, just keep at it.

Missed going to the...don't know the word, dunno if they have them in Western Europe... like a specialized clinic that has a file of all the people with the associated illness, psychological illnesses in this case. I'm supposed to get stamped bit of paper from them that says they don't have me on file to continue with my medical stuff.
So I decided that fuck it, I'm on vacation, I'll go rolerskating with friends. Had a wonderful time, but now my conscience has decided to kick me to death over it.

I'll go tomorrow. Yeah. Definitely.

This so hard. I share your pain, exercise brother/sister/sibling.

Haven't eaten in something like 40 hours, and still don't feel like it.

That's fairly common for me. I don't get hungry a lot, which makes eating seem kinda pointless.

I am ill and have subsequently been eating nonstop for the last 40 hours.
The hunger never goes away, even when I eat things that it feels like I should.
