... yeah, when it's in the range of 10-12 at night, and the birdsong is piercing like two walls... yeah. To blue hell with those birds. Mind you, it was like... one bird. Or two. Same species. This wasn't the normal pleasant avian cacophony. This was some giant bird prick setting down at midnight for a multi-hour (seriously, this shit would last from something like 10 till 4. Nonstop.) aural hate fest. This lasted for years, though it was a seasonal thing, iirc.

I actually like birdsong. Bird noises in general (barring woodpeckers, may the bastard tree buggerers be consumed by a thousand starving cats). But not when it's approaching midnight and I'm trying to sleep and it's this one jackass bird in the tree outside the house.

Whatever that particular species of bird was -- I never found out, and it hasn't followed me to a more urban area -- I do not like it. I like it less than woodpeckers, and I frelling hate woodpeckers at this point nearly as much as I do mosquitoes. Ruddy banging nuisances and their damned noise pollution. Worse than freaking construction. At least construction work takes breaks. Woodpeckers are basically sun up 'till sun down. One of the other reasons every season except winter can go drown in a ditch.

Sigh... A forum game I like seems to have died right out of the gate.

Not that I don't empathize. It's way too easy to want to make a 'unique' game and just end up biting off more than you can chew.

Which one?

Also, I've come to the conclusion that the two emotions I despise the most are jealousy and longing. They refuse to adhere to reason and disrupt my peace of mind.

I still feel sick, and I dozed off accidentally and now it's 7PM. Ugh.

Weird mood swing. I used to listen to a radio show while at work, but stopped when my hours changed. I just went to listen to the latest to find the presenter of 14 years left and the show hasn't been on since October. My mood took an unexpected dive from this news.

I just "removed" (kicked everyone and left myself) my Steam group/Awesomenauts team.
R.I.P. Team UFO (Unidentified Fragging Objects) 27.11.13-22.3.2014

And of course didn't inform any of the members about it. Not like they care, probably, that group was good as dead for months now, so I treat that as mercy killing.

I have been to my own house for only an hour this week. I've been both working and house-sitting.

It's spring break.

And now I've got to do homework and memorize a speech on lobsters, which in itself isn't bad.

But I want to do it at home and the family doesn't get back until late sunday.

Heh. Hope you're not talking about mine.

The first thing I tend to do after dropping off my first load for the day is ask how long it will be until my second load arrives. This gives me an idea of how long I will be waiting, and by extension how late it will be when I finish for the day. Typically the other driver is about an hour out.

Today? "Don't know, the other driver isn't loaded yet."
Oh this is gonna be a long night ;____;
