It's my birthday
Happy cake!
This should go in the Happy thread.
I'm happy that its your birthday. :D

No. no. It's sad thread material.

I'm horribly sleep deprived. Deeply depressed and lonely. There's noone to really celebrate with. There's no cake, just a piece of cold pie I bought myself, that I didn't have the stomach to eat even. I have a morbid fear of growing older.

And I'm working tonight, so I'll be sleeping through the day anyhow, but even that is a constant struggle thanks to my chronic sleeping problems.

It is not happy day.

Found a cool anime.

It tends to skip subtitles.
Really, Really annoying.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Aw. :(
I have to admit, I know that feeling. I'd celebrate with you, though!

Caffeine tastes horrible.

Well, it is supposed to repel, paralyze and kill insects that eat leaves. A bit unlikely that it would taste good, I would say.

Maybe try making pancakes with it?

That's... a pretty great idea. Will try tomorrow morning.

I need a better way to get over my ex-fiancee than my instinctive method of piling work on myself and running myself ragged, because this really isn't working. I just wind up feeling tired, lonely, and very much depressed.

Well, if it tasted sweet the insects would eat until they die whereas if it tastes like shit they'll probably stop eating.
That said, I don't think it takes a lot of caffeine to kill a tiny little insect.

I'm feeling rather shitty. Mostly my own fault, I sort of subconciously made everything seem much worse than it is, in retrospect >.<

Inexperienced suggestion here: You could unblock her and ignore what hate she's giving you...politely ask her to stop and all (in which I fear a really bad reply...why am I suggesting this >.>).

You can block the person on FB though (and on the grounds you speak of here? You can report them for their behavior...). Quick reference.

Though, I guess what I'm saying (given the seemingly contradictory first statement) is to...well, perhaps find peace with this? You seem distraught and harmed by that event and...well I'd suggest both sides to come to mutual agreement or apologies...but I've no experience over the matter other than this.
Sorry if this doesn't help at all! D:

Perhaps it doesn't help much, but I feel like you might have dodged a bullet there. I highly doubt that being married to someone like that would have made you any happier.

I was just about to say that, cerapa. I concur.

I also agree with Turuin, try to find peace with it. Talk to someone: Not her, she seems to be rather unreasonable. Try some friends. Maybe go to the cinema, hang out with them. Don't work all the time; it's not healthy. However, in order to combat the loneliness you could start up a hobby, or maybe stay with family for a bit.
