O.O
Most impressive recovery of that type that I've seen was a very tough lady at the karate place I go to getting hit by a bus and recovering within the year, but that's not me.
The first time I got run over was totally my fault, but I was a stoopid little kid.
Ran out into the street after my sister as it was getting dark, and right in front of a car.
SHBAM! Subdural hematoma, and unconscious for 3 days. Hooray for being dumb!
The other 2 times? Totally NOT my fault. No scary head injuries with those, but in one I did get thrown from a car's rear driver side seat (faulty door latch, old vehicle sans seatbelts) when mom rounded a corner a little too hard, bounced off a nearby fence, and then under the rear tire. Thankfully all I got was a harsh shock and some roadrash.
Last time? Dillweed at a redlight not bothering to check for pedestrians crossing before right turning on red! JERK!
My bicycle? Screwed up from when I had to bail for the curb in an emergency dismount to escape yet another "I can't be arsed to look to my right before whipping around the corner to get my double vente at starbucks" jerk in a red sportscar just about made my day very bad indeed some time ago. I haven't gotten it fixed because it pisses me off every time I look at it.
I've decided that I must have some "people in red sportscars need to run me over!" Sign on me.
