I doubt we have enough Quakers in (continental) Europe to get any exemptions.  ;)
There aren't that many JWs either, but many more than that. Might still be political lobbying for them, that just never occured to me.

I really dunno what's wrong with me right now. I know what I need to do. I even have vague ideas of how to do it. But the instant I open up a word processor to so much as lay down an outline, my eyes just glaze over and I feel an overwhelming urge to sleep. Of course, this doesn't actually help me sleep - the need goes away with the word processor.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Sounds a hell of a lot like my ADHD.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

... And my herpes!

...but seriously, maybe if you go out and do something new, and take a camera and notepad/smartphone with, you can get some inspiration or motivation.  It's hard to get your mind working at a desk, but once you get moving, it should wake up.

Of course, depending on where you live, extreme cold or heat might interfere with that.

I am way to easy to push around -.-
I was preparing to go to bed and finish this delivery in the morning, when I get a phone call asking why I couldn't do it tonight. I tell him (quite truthfully) that I had been awake most of the day already and I'd rather start early in the morning than finish late at night. He reminds me that the load is due fairly early, but he doesn't know if the customer is okay with slightly-late deliveries. I reluctantly state that I can at least get closer to the customer before I get sleepy and have to stop, and he uses the magic words:

"Do your best."

When I hear those words, I get this sort of resigned determination to go all the way, to exceed expectations. He wants me to at least get some miles under my belt before turning in? Fuck him, I'll drive all 250 miles in the dead of night when I should really be asleep. I'll not only be on time, I'll be goddamn early...which, of course, is exactly what the company wants. I have enough time for a nap before the customer opens, but after that I'll likely be awake for quite some time. Either that or I slowly become nocturnal, which is exactly what I don't want.

tl;dr: Boss tells me to do my best and I will move heaven and earth in an attempt to do so, even to my own severe detriment.

Dunno, but "If you are able to" kinda rings the same tune to my ears.
Hope you'll at least be able to enjoy that little amount of sleep you'll actually get, Sirus, and take care.

Personally I've never been able to live up to expectations anymore.

I'd rather not bore you guys with the details, but yeah. That ^.

Anyway, actual sad.

I'm in another 'Shit I'm doing it all wrong' moods again ::)

Don't truck-drivers have super nazi rules about sleeping and time schedules?

(now I think about it, the answer to this question is probably "Americafuckyeah".)

So, I discovered Omegle recently. I wisely decided to let the cam part alone and only do the text chat.
I decided to pretend I was a girl, to mess with people and generally have more conversations than otherwise (because people often insta-close the conversation if the other stranger is male).

Results.

I post it here because this guy was so nice I feel bad for lying to him :'(
I mean, I know very well what he wanted, but that doesn't change the fact that he was a nice guy.

I wish I was a girl so people would be nice to me like that.

EDIT: I re-read that log. I am now a bit too much confused for my taste. I think I'll stop pretending to be a girl now, or I'll risk becoming actually attracted to nice guys ><
