What use is that if your peers approve of the insult?

If your peers approve of the insult that means they approve that you are someone who deserves to be insulted and thus you are someone who that insult applies to :P

It helps that I already think of my peers as idiots, so who cares if they agree with the insult. :3

I once had someone insult me by asking "why do you use such big words"?

I... I use big words? wot.

Source potentially unreliable, but still.

Scientists accidentally killed oldest known creature.
It's the Daily Fail, so I'm already inclined to call "bullshit". Add the fact that they mention killing the animal in two different ways (first they said it was by opening it, then a paragraph or two later they killed it by putting it in a freezer)...well, I want a more credible source.

I just kind of sputtered and said something like "I... read a lot? I don't know."

I wasn't very suave when I was younger. Or popular. Or... you know, anything. >_>

Edit: PUFFERFISH I WILL LOVE YOU VERY TENDERLY AND COOK YOU DINNER, YOU SACK OF SHIT

GODDAMNIT THAT SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS COUNT ME IN DESCAN.

Anyway. Speaking of sad stuff. Thanks to my work ethic (read: lack of) I need to ace all my homework and the next exams and pull a B out of the final in order to get a C out of my calculus class this semester.

At this point, when I see women I'd like to date, I just get angry at myself and depressed. It's actually becoming a serious issue, to the point where I actively dislike seeing beautiful women around. That's... Not good for a single, straight guy, methinks.

Follow your own advice and just introduce yourself if there's somebody you're interested in. If it works, it works! If it doesn't work, you never have to talk to them again and won't flounder thinking about it. It's the most efficient solution.
