Despite all accomplishments and/or studies in psychology, or perhaps even using what I've personally learned, I can't even help anyone with encouragement in the right manner.

English, why do you fail me despite all I've been through with you.

My grandfather was a Missouri Synod Lutheran minister and kept tracts around the house explaining why women are not meant to make decisions for themselves.
My face cannot make up its mind on what expression to make at that.
^
This.

Religious tracts make me cry. And then laugh a little bit, before I remember how serious they are being.
Oh god, that is so awesome.
Oh no my character is dead better go turn into a lightbulb vibrator combo.

Who linked that analysis of Chick tracts? I can't stop reading them.
I've been in the same spot for several hours and can't move.
Halp

I did! But yeah, that's happened to me before. I just keep reading them, because as soon as I stop I'll have to move on to the feelings of abject horror.

Just got out of school... I have this evening and tomorrow to do a whole bunch of stuff, and I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do it all because of apathy/lack of energy... urgh...

Went to my first Biology lab of the semester. Did not like it, was not given sufficient instruction. If that TA doesn't improve soon, this is going to be a long semester. At least it's only one day a week.

I feel like I've been through an explosion. In reality, I am sunburnt.

But you have. The sun is just a very big very long explosion.

Well played, but the burn is actually from a tanning bed.

Manufactured essence of explosion applied directly to the skin.

I have for the last two weeks been beating, poisoning, and torturing the local wasp populations with impunity, until today. A damn wasp flew right out of its nest and stung me right on the nipple ;-;

So today I got a truck assigned!

It's...well, it's kinda crap. I can't help but compare it rather unfavorably to my trainer's truck in just about every criterion:
While his truck was new, mine has clearly seen better days.
His was a shining example of what a truck should look like. Mine is dirty inside and out and has half a dozen minor bits of damage that aren't worth fixing.
His truck had plenty of room for a cooler. Mine doesn't at the moment, and I'm not even sure where I could plug one in.
His truck had all the latest clean-driving technology that made his exhaust cleaner than any gasoline-burning car. Mine does not.

And so on. I'm sure I will get used to it eventually. I just feel like I'm going from "ermegerd awesome" to "what a piece of junk!". And I doubt she'll make .5 past lightspeed.

Obviously the solution is to clean it up and fix it up until it's a shining example for all trucks to aspire too.

Company won't spring for repairs for the body damage because "its not a safety issue". Best they can do is get it cleaned up and fix the couple of minor things that are safety issues.

Think of it RPG style, and you'll have leveled up to a better truck in no time.
