Ha ha ha. Come to the states, CP.

But yeah. Tired, so go to sleep. Which... makes me tired, and want to go back to sleep. So I do ('cause it's also like, four something in the morning and I didn't sleep 'till like midnight) and...

... now I'm tired, and want to go back to goddamn sleep. Sleep is not supposed to cause an energy recursion, damnit :-\

Damned hateful physiology.

*sigh*

The train system is down, so I won't be running some very necessary errands today.  Also the shower pretty much exploded.

I should perhaps add that the crazy holiday scheudles run havoc on work planning.

Uuuugh I feel like I really want to do something, except I don't know what this something is and I feel really mentally exhausted because of whatever it is I'm not doing. Thing is that everything looks like too much effort right now, so chances are that I will never be able to do it even if I know what it is.

Nighttime walks are the very best, but results may vary by location.
This happened to me several times during the last semester: It's 2am, I should have gone to bed a long time ago.
FUCK THAT, NIGHTTIME WALK!
4am, I get home. Lecture's at eight, I have to turn in some homework.
Yeah, those were nights when sleeping just wasn't an option.

Reactionary heroes are boring. I like it when they cause their own mess via greedy intent or, better yet, ignorance. You can see how when the protagonist causes the complication, your antagonist has to be a lot more opportunistic, and that can be tricky...
All the yes.

Oh hey, I make a joking suggestion about how I would hate dealing with people when my dad suggested I took a guide course. Suddenly it turns into a story about me being a lazy fuck and liking the computer more than anything else.

Sure, it couldn't be that I'm maybe antisocial or anything, I'm just a lazy piece of shit.

Oh nice, while I was writing this it turns out that my summer vacation is cut short because I have two days before they take everything away. I kinda want to go away now, anywhere really because I fear I'll snap sooner or later locked up here with my ffolks and do or say something I might regret.

One hour before I leave and go to court, with all the usual risks. Lot's I could say, but I don't really feel like it. I've grown to dislike explaining myself to people, answering questions frustrates me. Perhaps I'm mentally unwell in a greater manner than I was diagnosed as, because I've got some pretty serious issues with certain things. No matter, it's off we go to explain why I won't ever be the cookie-cutter person they want me to be.

That feeling when you realize your carefully orchestrated series of shift trades and related shenanigans has, as a side effect, condensed two work weeks into a solid 9 day stretch (with another, miscellaneous day, just sort of hanging out all lonely, in the past). Oh, well, I'm 5 days in already.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I feel your pain. Last week I managed to condense three 24 hour shifts in a 6 day-span, to my woe.

If it helps I can share in that misery. I had 2 days where I wasn't working this month.

So... instead of folding my pile of clean laundry and putting sheets on my bed? I've just been using a sleeping bag.

Disregard the previous contents of this post, I'm both paranoid and over-reacting.

The RSS reader I use is shutting down the public part of its services, and going back to it just being a service for some friends.

Fortunately, I found a replacement.
